Having conducted research, the Foundation concluded that the current challenges surrounding ground level impact and sustainability are interlinked with cultural and class gaps which are result of South Africa’s history. The Foundation has identified a need to bridge these gaps through a host of measures which include but are not limited to:

  • Mentor and assist community based organisations to formalise in order to gain access to potential donors/funders;
    – Partner and resource ground-level community based organisations to assist them in achieving outcomes that have real impact on the community;
  • Build relationships with like-minded corporate partners to achieve the goal of pairing corporate partners with structured community based organisations whose activities find resonance/alignment;
  • Identify and engage in projects aimed at providing structural support and partnering up with government, where opportune.
